I recently made an Android App for AppGoblin! This uses the Android permission QUERY_ALL_PACKAGES
to give you a list of all apps on your device, and select which ones to request their de-compiled data to see which trackers you likely have on your phone for each app.
The data comes from my own database of 40k de-compiled apps where I store all their internal paths, and then tag those for which companies and SDKs they match. This includes some open source software as well. If you’d like to help expand the list I’m always open to adding more.
Any specific apps on your phone that you want tracker info for?
Head to AppGoblin and search for the app and if it doesn’t yet have the trackers available select Request SDK scan. This process is semi automated, and can take a couple days. Additionally, many apps can have issues in scanning / decompiling, so please feel free to reach out on AppGoblin Discord or others and I can try to debug any issues that popup.
What about iOS?
I have the data for iOS, but I’m not sure how to make it for iOS since there is no equivalent to QUERY_ALL_PACKAGES
. If you have any ideas please feel free to reach out. Otherwise you can see your iOS Apps on the web by searching AppGoblin for the apps on your device individually.
I don’t want to install an app / send out any data
All the mobile app ASO, SDKs and analytics are freely available on AppGoblin.info with no need to create an account or anything. Search for each app you’d like to know more about it’s SDKs and trackers.
